A few photos from the wastebin

I found few old photos from the south island in my photobucket account and I thought - what the heck- I haven't posted any of my work here for ages so I'll chuck it on here. Definately not my best work though.

If you haven't noticed already - I am in the car rental business (yes I get all the chicks...) Anyways, I've created online directory for just car rental stuff, here you can post your car rental links to your hearts content. Check it out car rental companies directory

So far they are only filled in with Australia, New Zealand and Ireland links (US is coming soon!) so make sure and post your car rental links here.

Campervan Hire Information Forum

This is another work project that we recently put up - its a campervan hire forum. Here you can ask all sorts of question about campervan hire and motorhome rental. Eg Whats the gas mileage on a campervan, what are road rules for driving in New Zealand. All sorts of good stuff if you ever want to rent a motorhome. Enjoy!

Ireland Car Rental

Well, the business just put up our irish car rental websites last night, we even got a fancy-schmancy .ie domain. Those .ie domains are expensive but they are still cheaper than .is (for iceland) which i think were € 200 per pop.

Anyways have a quick peak at our ireland car rental website:

Did Mercury Energy get possessed by the Devil?

For those of you who don't know, Mercury Energy is a major Power company here in NZ. I got a strange automated call about a half ago informing me that I hadn't payed bill - which is strange because my bill is on Autopayment.

Like good lad, I immediately ring up Mercury Folks at Mercury Energy. My phone gets disconnect during the punch your numbers in the phone bit. So I try again and i get managed to put on hold. But the 'hold music' was quite strange, the lyrics of a country western type song that refrained through the phone was:

Jesus, I am evil
Jesus, I am evil
Jesus, I am evil
Jesus, I am evil

It may not have been the 'hold music', i do remember living in Atlanta Georgia that oldies station Fox 97.1 FM used to get picked up in the old analogue phones. (For that matter, I used to pick up Fox Fm in my fillings - it was part there strategy to brainwash the masses into listen to elvis presley 24/7)

But since this a digital phone, listening to Jesus, I am evil on the phone from Mercury Energy was a bit of laugh.

Then oddly, after about 2 minutes on hold a recording said:

We are sorry, we are unable to complete your call due to an emergency evacution.

Did some evil satanist take over Mercury Energy?

Best New Zealand Film (ever) - Kaikohe Demolition

Yeah, so movies are filmed in New Zealand (the piano, LOTR, Silvia, Last Samurai) but until now I have never seen a movie that truly captures what New Zealand is about.

You gotta check out this doco called 'Kaikohe Demolition '. I laughed till i almost cried (in a very good way, mind you). Its amazing of how true it captures the kiwi spirit - a real heart warmer. It'll make ye want to smash your subaru into thy neighbour's suv. Its choice bro!

Just make sure you turn on the subtitles, i've been here for 3 years and i can still can't undastind tha kiwispeak
